The hotel managers discuss tourism development

Workshop “ Strategy to develop Vietnam talent” took place in Hanoi recently attracted more than 100 candidates who are advanced personnel coming from the big hotels in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

This workshop is funded by $ 10 million scholarship “Capacity development for enterprise managers in Vietnam” in collaboration with Hanoi Tourism Association and Department of Culture , Sports  and Tourism ( belonged to Ho Chi Minh city).

The workshops attracted more than 100 candidates who are advanced personnel from major hotels in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City as the Metropole, Rex, Lotte, Park Haytt, etc.

The participants shared orientation for Vietnam tourism development in general, development of human resources in particular, especially in the ASEAN integration period. In particular, the issue of Vietnam high quality human resource is becoming an urgent topic. Starting from this reality, Vingroup shared a goal of developing a new generation of leaders for the service industry in Vietnam through a 10-million Scholarship Fund “Capacity development for enterprise managers in Vietnam”.

The first project is to train 50 executives ( general  manager) in the hotel according to international standards. The training program lasts 12-16 months, for the potential Vietnam candidates whose ages are 25-35, have the capacity, passion and desire to develop their career in hotel management. Qualified candidates are professionally trained by international and reliable training organization.

Interns will be paid, receive international training certifications after graduation and also have opportunities to have jobs immediately after training. This is an opportunity for young Vietnamese who have confirmed their desire and goal to become CEO (GM).

Previously, the group held a workshop in Vinperal (Nha Trang) with the participation of more than 100 participants who are  leaders of tourism and hospitality enterprises, hotels in Khanh Hoa province. The workshop is expected to hold in Da Nang on 7, February, 2015.
