Signing the Cooperation in Hotels & Lodging specialized training

(VTR) – On 23/02/2016, in Hanoi, the signing ceremony of cooperation “Human resources specialized training in Hotels & Lodging” between the National Economics University (NEU) and JSC Elite Hospitality Group (Elite) – the exclusive Representative of the American Hotel Lodging Educational Institute in Vietnam.

With the criteria to improve the quality of human resources and contribute the development of sustainable tourism, NEU cooperates with Elite to operate the development  program of the American Hotel Lodging Educational Institute – AHLEI in Hanoi. Cooperation model is designed by the criteria as follows: training theory at NEU confirmed the AHLEI standards; ensuring the quality of recruitment needs of local and international enterprises; vocational training in 3-4 star hotels; internship in 5-star hotels in Vietnam, as well as providing opportunities to work internationally.

AHLEI’s training program will be conducted at NEU. This program is verified and recognized by the United States’s educational standards and global hotel business and management corporations. In Vietnam, some of high ranking hotels and corporations such as Sagontourist Holding Company, Vingroup, Vinpearl JSC, WMC Group, Park Hyatt Saigon, Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon, Caravele Saigon, Hanoi Daewoo Hotel, JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi are customers and strategic partners of Elite in the cooperative strategy with the NEU.

Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Doctor. Tran Tho Dat, the principal of National Economics University said: Meeting the social needs is the mandatory requirement for all training programs at National Economics University. Therefore, cooperation to implement training programs of Hospitality Management and Tourism of AHLEI at NEU is a good development direction and an opportunity for students at the school to access to the professional and highly qualified training programs according to international standards. This event also partially contributes to the mission of training high-quality human resources for the Vietnamese tourism industry in particular and the national economy in general.

On behalf of the JSC Elite Hospitality Group, Ms Paulina Ngo, CEO of Elite said: AHLEI and Elite are honored to welcome NEU to the global network of AHLEI Education.
